FADE IN: INT. WORKSPACE

Hi, I'm Delma, and I design moments in products you've probably seen or used.

Restaurant kitchen — Square fulfillment scene
After placing an order on Square →

CUT TO: INT. CAFE

At Square, I worked on what happens after an order is placed. What gets made, who makes it, when it's ready, and whether it reaches the right person.

City street — Uber pickup scene
Before an Uber picks you up →

CUT TO: EXT. CITY STREET

When you're booking an Uber, there can be that moment of hesitation. Is this the right car? Who's driving? At MetaLab, I worked on this moment. Designing it to build trust, when getting into a stranger's car was still an unfamiliar concept.

Retail store to laptop — Kickstarter scene
When a Kickstarter campaign is funded →

CUT TO: INT. RETAIL STORE

When I see crowdfunded products in a store, I know they took months, even years, to get to that point. At Kickstarter, I worked on add-ons, so campaign rewards can be extended, and creators can get more funding.

CLOSE ON: WORKSPACE, OVERHEAD

Somewhere along the way, I started making my own things, too. With Up To No Good, I get to experience that same journey firsthand. From a sketch to something I can hold and even sell online.

When I design I think about moments — not just what's on screen but everything in between. Screens are only part of the experience. See you out there!
